Mesiterra: Birth of the Daemons
The waves echo in your blood, crashing and roaring as you flick your powerful tail and feel a fire building deep in your belly. The patches of reddish scales that cover parts of your body are warm and feel like home, and the fire in your core grows. You open your jaws and spit flame into the ocean, bellowing a chant in draconic as you feel the raw power of the dragons coursing through your veins.
Anywhere there are dragons, small communities of dragonkin appear. At first glance they don’t appear any different from the common, humanoid races, but strong, scaly tails, draconic-looking horns, and patterns of scales on their skin give away some touch of the dragons.
The most dramatic distinguishing feature of the dragonkin is the breath weapon that they may use once per day. This breath weapon is different depending on the color of the dragonkin’s scales, and thus reflects one of the ten different clades of dragons.
